Our mission is to help people unleash their love of dancing by creating an environment where people can move freely, connect meaningfully , and walk away feeling good and energized each time.

Based in northeast NJ, our signature, feel-good dance workouts are inspired by (but not limited to) Latin and global rhythms designed to make you sweat, smile, and feel unstoppable.

But beyond our classes, Latin Heat Moves exists as a warm and inviting community. From nightlife events and public appearances to an active WhatsApp group that keeps everyone connected, we bring people together on and off the dance floor.

Available for corporate or private events, parties, and special occasions with optional experience upgrades, we can bring the LATIN HEAT MOVES experience directly to you.

And when the sun goes down, the party turns up with LHM: After Dark, our nightlife extension where you can socialize and experience our dance energy in a vibrant party atmosphere.

With Andrew leading all things in-class, and Melinda leading all aspects beyond, together they create the perfect fusion of personality and talent that drives the heart and mind of the LATIN HEAT MOVES brand.

Melinda

Melinda is the owner of LHM Ventures, a small business that invests in, promotes, and operates classes for talented instructors who prefer to focus on their craft rather than operate a business. She is responsible for everything beyond the class itself including marketing & design, revenue growth, operations, accounting, space procurement, community development, customer service, bookings and logistics, and more. After leaving her role at Google, Melinda decided to take on LATIN HEAT MOVES as the flagship class of LHM Ventures, pursuing passions of her own. Her superpower of lifting others up and bringing together people from all backgrounds is what fuels the brand beyond the class itself. Melinda speaks conversational Mandarin and Spanish, and has been dancing to Latin music since age 11. Not only is she an entrepreneur, she's also a fellow💃student who loves dogs, travelling, and learning languages.

Andrew

Andrew is the creator and original founder of the class previously known as "Latin Heat". He designs and leads the entire in-class experience as the source of its energy -- from choreography and music selection, to sub-instructor training and selection. With an extensive background in Latin dance instruction and choreography for both Latin and Ballroom rhythms, Andrew has taught all across NJ and NY since 2010 including a long tenure at LA Fitness, where he earned the recognition of being their highest attended class in the country. Grounded in his love for music and passion for dancing, Andrew brings an exciting and fun workout that incorporates high intensity cardio with rhythmic dance moves. He wants people of all ages and backgrounds to just have FUN, and get a workout in the process. Affectionately known as "Superman" by his students, Andrew spends his days as Shelter Operations Manager at The Hoboken Shelter in Hoboken, NJ.
